Automated YouTube Subscription Notifications with RSS and Email
Who is this template for? You are in the bad habit of always checking your feed to see if there are new videos? This workflow will help you get rid of this habit by delivering an email notification for each new video posted from the channels you are subscribed to. No need to check your feed again: no email = no new video. Example email How it works Every hour (by default), we: Fetch all your YouTube subscriptions from the YouTube Data v3 API. Get a list of the latest videos of each channel through RSS (we don't use YouTube's API for this step as it would put us over the daily quota). Send you a simple yet beautiful email for each new video that was published since the last run of the workflow. To go to the video, simply click on the thumbnail. Caveats Because of the way this workflow is implemented, if your n8n instance stops, you will not get emails for the videos you missed when your instance is back online. The situation could be improved if n8n gave us an easy way to access the last successful execution's timestamp. Set up instructions Complete the Set up credentials step when you first open the workflow. You'll need YouTube OAuth2 API and SMTP credentials. In the Send an email

Check VPS resource usage every 15 minutes
This n8n workflow template is designed to help system administrators and DevOps professionals monitor key resource usage metrics — CPU, RAM, and Disk — on a VPS (Virtual Private Server). The workflow automatically checks these resources every 15 minutes and sends an email alert if any resource usage exceeds the 80% threshold. This proactive monitoring helps maintain optimal server performance and prevents resource-related downtimes. Who This Workflow Is For • System Administrators managing Linux-based servers who need to ensure their systems are running smoothly without manual monitoring. • DevOps Professionals who manage multiple environments and need automated tools to alert them to potential issues before they affect operations. • IT Support Teams who require an easy way to keep tabs on server health across an organization’s infrastructure. How It Works Schedule Trigger: The workflow is triggered every 15 minutes by a Cron node. Resource Checks: Separate SSH Command nodes are configured to execute specific commands that check the current usage of RAM, Disk, and CPU. Data Aggregation: The results from each check are merged using a Merge node, which combines the data into a single

How it Works This workflow automates the process of assigning unique QR code coupons to leads generated through a form submission, ensuring no duplicates are created, and validating the usage of coupons. Here's how it operates: Webhook Trigger: The workflow starts with a Webhook node that listens for incoming requests containing QR code data. A Set coupon node extracts the QR code value from the request parameters. Validation of QR Code: An If node checks if the QR code exists in the incoming data. If it does, the process proceeds; otherwise, a "No coupon" response is sent back. Coupon Lookup: The Get Lead node queries a Google Sheets document to check if the QR code corresponds to an existing lead. A subsequent Not used? node verifies whether the coupon has already been used by checking the "USED COUPON?" field in the sheet. Lead Duplication Check: When a new lead submits the form (On form submission), the Duplicate Lead? node checks if the email already exists in the system to prevent duplicates. Coupon Assignment: If the lead is not a duplica

Sends an email summary, grouping tasks by the day they were completed. Set up steps Copy your Todoist API token (found here). Create a Todoist API credential in n8n. Create an SMTP credential in n8n. Alternatively, use a preferred email service like Brevo, Mailjet, etc. Import this workflow template. In the Get completed tasks via Todoist API step, select your Todoist API credential. In the Send Email step: Select your SMTP credential. Set the sender and recipient email addresses. Run the workflow manually and check your inbox! Generate dynamic contents for EMAILS or HTML pages
Disclaimer: This template contains a community node and therefore only works for n8n self-hosted users== This is Miquel from Aprende n8n and Automate with n8n. We have created a new community node Document Generator that generates dynamic content using templates. You can compose complex content with no SETs or FUNCTION ITEMs nodes using this node, like: Send one email with a list of items in the body (i.e., one email with the last entries of an RSS feed). Send one email per item (i.e., one invoice per email). Emails are just a sample. You can create complex dynamic content to: Send messages to Telegram/Slack. Create WordPress entries. Create HTML pages for your website. Create tickets. And more! The sky is your limit ;) If you want to use this workflow, install the community node n8n-nodes-document-generator from Settings > Community nodes. Type "n8n-nodes-document-generator", check "I understand the risks..." and click on "Install": Later, copy and paste this workflow into your n8n. You will get this workflow: This workflow uses the Customer Datastore node to generate sample input items. You can render one template with all items (enable "Render All Items with One Template"): o
Markdown timesheet report generation
This tutorial demonstrates the creation of the HTML report via Markdown node. The main idea is to prepare a very long gext variable via the Function Node and then convert it to the HTML file. The resulting report can be downloaded from the workflow canvas directly or send via email as an attachment.
Markdown report generation
This workflow illustrates how HTML reports can be created using Markdown Node. An example data consists of a Time Sheet table for 2 persons. Based on this table a markdown document is generated using Function Node. After that a final HTML report is created and is saved as binary file. This file can be either downloaded directly from the workflow canvas or sent as an email attachement.

Notify on new emails with invoices in Slack
This workflow checks for new emails in a mailbox and if the email body contains the word "invoice" it will send the attachment to Mindee. It then posts a message to Slack to let the team know a payment needs to be made, If the value of the invoice is over 1000 it will also email the finance manager. To use this workflow you will need to configure the IMAP node to select the correct mailbox to use then configure the Mindee node to use your credentials. Once that is done the Send Email node will need to be configured to use the correct mail server and to send to the correct people, The last thing to configure is the Slack node this will need your Slack credentials and the channel you want to post the message to.
Collect absences from Google Calendars
This workflow checks a Google Calendar at 8am on the first of each month to get anything that has been marked as a Holiday or Illness. It then merges the count for each person and sends an email with the list. To use this workflow you will need to set the credentials to use for the Google Calendar node and Send Email node. You will also need to select the calendar ID and fill out the information in the send email node. This workflow searches for Events that contain "Holiday" or "Illness" in the summary. If you want to change this you can modify it in the Switch node.

Parse Ycombinator news page
Extract data from a webpage (Ycombinator news page) and create a nice list using itemList node. It seems that current version in n8n (0.141.1) requires to extract each variable one by one. Hopefully in a futute it will be possible to create the table using just one itemList node. Another nice feature of the workflow is an automatically generated file name with the resulting table. Check out the "fileName" option of the Spreadsheet File node: "Ycombinator_news_{{new Date().toISOString().split('T', 1)[0]}}.{{$parameter[\"fileFormat\"]}}" The resulting table is saved as .xls file and delivered via email

Track changes of product prices
This workflow automatically tracks changes on specific websites, typically in e-commerce where you want to get information about price changes. Prerequisites Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript Nodes Execute Command nodes create a file named kopacky.json in the /data/ folder (Make sure that n8n has the permissions to make changes to the folder in your setup) and clean data. Cron node triggers the workflow at regular intervals (default is 15 minutes), depending on how often you want to crawl URLs of your watchers. Function Item node (Change me) adds the URL watchers. You can put as many URLs (watchers) as you want by changing the JavaScript code in the node. There are four properties for each watcher: |Property|Meaning| |-|-| |slug|Unique identifier for the watcher.| |link|URL of the website where you want to track changes.| |selector|CSS selector of the HTML tag, where your price is placed. You can use browser web tools to get a specific selector.| |currency|Currency code in which your price is set.| Function Item node (Init item) saves all required data from each watcher to the kopacky.json file. HTTP Request node fetches data from the website. HTML Extract node extracts the re
